Coinbase Your Way Out Video Game Commercial
Oscar Hudson collaborated with the talented folks at Isle of Any to produce a brand new ad for Coinbase, titled ‘Your Way Out’. They wanted to convey the impression of being caught in a rigid system and then unexpectedly bursting out, so they decided to film everything in real life, with no CGI or AI. The end result is a commercial that resembles a video game, but each frame was shot in a real location with real people and props.

The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX HD PC Port
The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening DX HD depicts Koholint Island in such detail that every blade of grass and distant tree stands out. Explorers navigate Link throughout the countryside, discovering the vast universe that awaits them, free of the limitations of small screens. One easy change allows anyone to drag the view back until the entire island is visible, with every animal, enemy, and villager following their routines regardless of how far away they are.

55-inch Hisense CanvasTV 55S7N
Samsung has a reputation for creating televisions that merge easily into any house, much like a piece of framed artwork hanging on a wall. The problem is that those televisions have traditionally been too expensive for many purchasers. Hisense identified an opportunity with the 55-inch CanvasTV (55S7N), a set that costs around $600 (was $1,000), and the good news is that it still gives the same exquisite style without the enormous expensive price tag.

8Bitdo Retro 68 Keyboard AP50th Limited Edition
This year marks Apple’s 50th anniversary, and 8BitDo has come out swinging with the 8Bitdo Retro 68 Keyboard – AP50th Limited Edition, a $499.99 keyboard that returns to the original machine that started everything. The design is a direct homage to the original Apple II, with beige and brown hues covering every inch of it, derived from the same color palette that characterized personal computing in 1977. Those tones may be found on the cover, keycaps, and two wireless buttons buried away in the box.

3D-Printed Shoes
People are constantly pushing the boundaries of 3D printing, but shoes have long been the holy grail, or rather the holy nightmare, of the technology. They must be able to bend with each step, provide traction on a variety of surfaces, and withstand regular use without falling apart at the seams. DaveRig Design took on this exact task in a recent project, resulting in a pair of casual shoes that look and feel right at home on the street.

Xteink X3 E-Reader
Slapping the Xteink X3 onto an iPhone takes only a few seconds. This is owing in part to its built-in magnets, which exactly align with MagSafe and allow it to be easily snapped into place. You get a thin black or white slab that sits flush against the phone’s back without adding any bulk. Anyone who is continually reaching for their phone dozens of times per day would appreciate having a book right at their fingertips, all from the same move.
