iPhone 17 Air Dummy Unit Comparison

We’re a little over 160-days-away from the official iPhone 17 Air announcement, which means lots more leaks and spy shots will be surfacing in the coming months, including this dummy unit comparison. This handset is rumored to measure just 5.5mm to 6mm at its thinnest point, though the camera bump adds significant bulk, bringing the total thickness to around 9.5mm at its thickest.

It’s official, the Legacy Survey of Space and Time (LSST), which is currently the world’s largest digital camera, has been installed on the Simonyi Survey Telescope at the Vera C. Rubin Observatory in Chile. Weighing nearly 6,200 pounds and measuring 5.5 ft (h) x 9.8 ft (w), the camera is literally the size of a small SUV, with a 3.2-gigapixel (3,200-megapixel) focal plane, making it the highest-resolution camera of its kind.

We may be decades away from artificial wombs, but one Australian man was able to leave St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney with a full titanium artificial heart from BiVACOR this past month. Officially called the BiVACOR Total Artificial Heart (TAH), this device basically replaces both ventricles of the heart, taking over the pumping of blood to the body (systemic circulation) and lungs (pulmonary circulation).
